Vibrant and crystalline purple in the glass. Violets and blackcurrant aromatics. Supple and soft black fruits with a beef tartare savoury note. It's quite slippery and gliding and flows from entry to finish. The tannins and acidity doing the work from the shadows, away from the spotlight. There's an easy deliciousness to this wine. This wine handles more robust dishes such as roast beef, lamb or pork. It is a perfect match to a big juicy steak or game meats such as kangaroo or venison. Also well suited to richly flavoured casseroles or tomato based pasta dishes.
